I love ice cream. I also love different flavours of ice cream and adding toppings to it. One particular evening while staying at my parents’ house (they were away in Newfoundland), I decided that I wanted some cookie dough bites for my ice cream. I of course decided to try my hand at some eggless, edible cookie dough bites. So here we go!
- 1/2 C all purpose flour
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp of softened margerine
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 C mini chocolate chips
- 1/8 C water
First add the flour, both sugars, salt and margerine to a bowl.
Then with a mixer blend the ingredients together.
Blend until everything is crumbly.
Add in vanilla.
And chocolate chips.
Add in water and mix until dough forms. Shape the dough on a cutting board into a log and cut small cookie shapes from it.
Continue to cut those cookie dough bites, placing them on a flat surface. I used a children’s plastic plate.
Place in freezer for about 1 – 2 hours before enjoying them on your ice cream!
