The last of the three low ingredient crock pot and chicken endeavors! These past few weeks have been super busy. I have almost not been able to post. When I don’t post, it could mean one of three things.
- I’m super happy and super busy.
- I’m super stressed and super busy.
- I’m super lazy.
For the most part it’s number one or number three. In fact I should just lay back and not post anything right now as I am very sick.
This dish needs the following ingredients;
- 1 package of Maggi So Juicy – I had the garlic one
- 1 whole lemon – quartered and then some
- 1 whole chicken – take the innards out!
You will also need aluminum foil for this meal. I also didn’t take many pictures because I was kind of in a fog just trying to make this without feeling like complete crap (that was a task on it’s own).
Pull out your crock pot and make sure that the chicken is able to fit. Roll up pieces of tin foil into little balls and put them into the bottom of the crock pot.
Season the chicken in the Maggi So Juicy bag with the seasoning. Coat the chicken evenly. Cut the lemon up into quarters.
Put the lemon chunks into the chicken. It all wouldn’t fit so I put some of them on the bottom of the crock pot as well.
Let cook on high for 3 1/2 hours or low for 7 hours and serve while it is still hot. It’s really as simple as that. I served with carrots and my mum brought a salad. My taste was off due to being sick, but I still enjoyed the flavours that this meal brought. The chicken was juicy and tender. It was good!
