2 ingredients and chicken – part 1

I bring you another food post! This one is super easy and very tasty!

I’ve been browsing Pinterest lately and every once in awhile a post interests me and I try my own version. So get your crock pot out and here we go!

This is all you need;

  • 1 can of coke
  • 2/3 cup of soya sauce
  • 6 chicken thighs (or 10 drumsticks)

Now pour the can of coke in the crock pot

Pour in the soya sauce. Put the chicken thighs in and lastly, I took a spoon and drizzled the liquid over the chicken thighs.

Turn the crock pot on high and occupy yourself for about 3 hours (on low for 6 hours).

I cleaned LO’s play area

And I played with LO and made some Easter themed stuff that you will see soon.

After the 3 hours was up, I removed as much liquid as I could to a pot (for the stove top) and turned the crock pot to warm – the chicken is still in there.

I then turned the stove top on high and reduce the liquid to thicken it. This took me about 20 minutes. You don’t have to do this, but it makes a nice glaze to pour onto the chicken.

Plate with rice or side dish of choice (I garnished with green onion too), serve and enjoy!
